Friday September 15, 2017. After two decades in space, NASA's Cassini spacecraft made its final approach to Saturn and dove into the planet’s atmosphere. In the 60s afrofuturist, space-jazz creator, SunRa, revealed his origin from the planet with the rings. Science gives humankind new fuel to imagine the future, but Music gives us new dreams.
SpaceIsThePlace is a photography project. We researched deep into Arkestra iconography, design the clothes, staged shooting, played with collages and graphics in order to visually tells this connection between music and science, earth and space.
